Sergeant Steel Review

We Take An Impartial Look At This ‘Military’ Grade T-Booster

Sergeant Steel is a “military-grade” testosterone boosting supplement created by a company called Assault Labs.

We’re sure the whole military thing is just a marketing angle, but we love the hardcore solider-boy-look of this product.

However, we were unable to find out much about Assault Labs, and the product is not as readily available as it used to be, so we have to wonder if Assault Labs has stopped making the product or possibly even gone AWOL and closed up shop entirely.

However, the formulation contains an “elite squad of 16 ingredients” that have been specially recruited to boost testosterone levels, enhance body strength, boost the sex drive, and provide a number of other manly benefits.

Here’s a look at the things the formulation is alleged to do:

  • Boost Testosterone
  • Support Increased Muscle Mass
  • Reduce Oestrogen
  • Reduce Cortisol
  • Improve Recovery
  • Improve Strength
  • Boost the Libido

Formula In Sergeant Steel

Each 5-capsule dose provides:

  • Vitamin D3 (3000 IU): Vitamin D3 deficiency has been linked to low testosterone, so this is not a bad start, but the dose is a little on the low side.
  • Magnesium (50mg): Research suggests magnesium can suppress the activity of Binding Globulin, thereby encouraging a greater circulation of testosterone. It’s a good addition, but the dose is too stingy to add much value.
  • Calcium (18mg): One study, conducted by Turkish scientists, suggests training athletes who supplement with calcium may achieve increased testosterone levels and improved athletic performance but, again, the dose here appears to be too low.
  • Zinc (7.5mg): Zinc is good for boosting testosterone production, but scientists are still trying to understand how this is achieved. In this case, the dose appears okay.
  • D-Aspartic Acid (1500mg): An amino acid that stimulates luteinizing hormone release. The knock-on effect of this is higher testosterone levels.
  • KSM-66 Ashwagandha (337.5mg): A branded ashwaganda extract that may boost the libido, but is unlikely to do it any better than a standard extract.
  • Mucuna Pruriens Extract (250mg): Some research suggests mucuna pruriens can reduce stress levels and improve the semen quality of infertile men.
  • Nettle Extract (250mg): Nettle extract may increase testosterone levels for the better, but its ability to do so is still a matter of debate amongst members of the scientific community.
  • Fenugreek Seed Extract (250mg): Although it’s often used in testosterone boosting supplements, the abilities of fenugreek require further study.
  • Purified Shilajit (100mg): A tar-like substance that oozes from the ground in certain areas of the world. Research suggests a 250mg dose, taken twice a day, can boost testosterone, but Sergeant Steel provides less than half this amount.
  • Eurycoma Longifolia Extract (100mg): One clinical trial suggest a 300mg dose of eurycoma longifolia can firm the penis and boost libido, but Sergeant Steel comes up short once again.
  • Dehydroabietic Acid (DHAA) (52.5mg): A resin acid that’s alleged to lower estrogen, but is hopelessly understudied.
  • Tribulus Extract — 45% Saponins (50mg): A popular testosterone boosting ingredient that is also used as a natural treatment for erectile dysfunction. Ineffective as a testosterone boosting ingredient
  • Maca Extract (50mg): Another popular ingredient and its reputation as a libido booster appears to be built on solid ground. However, the dose is low. Some competing products provide 10 times this amount.
  • Boron (2.5mg): Boron serves a double function because it boosts testosterone while also lowering estrogen.
  • Bioperine (2.5mg): A patented black pepper extract that boosts the absorption of the ingredients it’s blended with.

Directions

Potential users of this product are warned to consult a doctor before commencing supplementation if they have, or are at risk from, high blood pressure, psychiatric problems, heart or kidney conditions, or any other medical problems.

If no medical restrictions exist, or if your doctor says it is safe to proceed, the recommended dose is 5 capsules first thing in the morning and another 5 capsules, taken 6 to 8 hours later.

That’s 10 capsules a day! But don’t worry, there are 300 capsules per bottle so it’s going to still be good for a month. After 8 weeks of use, a break of 6 to 8 weeks is required.

Users Feedback

We found less than 10 Sergeant Steel customer reviews.

All of them were good it has to be said, but the opinions and alleged experiences of just 10 people are not enough to provide an accurate idea about product performance.

Any Side Effects?

The lack of feedback means it’s no longer possible to see if the formulation has caused issues for men who have used it in the past.

There are quite a lot of ingredients involved though, and this could increase the likelihood of unexpected interactions, so, if you are thinking of using this product, it may be a good idea to have a chat with your doctor about it first.

One ingredient that did ring some alarm bells was Ashwagandha. Although safe for most users, there have been isolated reports that it has caused redness, burning and itching to the penis in handful of users.

Where To Buy Sergeant Steel T-Booster

Assault Labs doesn’t appear to have an official web presence and Sergeant Steel appears to have been dropped from Amazon.

This seems to be a difficult testosterone booster to buy, but at the time of our review, a couple of online stores appeared to still have stock to sell.

We saw it for sale for $44.99 for a months supply.

Cash Back Guarantee?

It’s always nice to see a money back guarantee, unfortunately, in this case, we don’t so Assault Labs need to get down and give us 20.

Final Thoughts/Conclusion

Some of the ingredients used in Sergeant Steel are known to be good. And some like Tribulus are a compete waste of time

Unfortunately, some of them are included in low doses, so the formulation as a whole may lack potency.

This is a problem for a product that’s not backed by a guarantee. Especially when there are so many superior options available that are capable of outmanoeuvring Sergeant Steel and providing better results.

Finally taking 10 capsules a day!! that is a serious amount, its not for us in any way, shape or form.

This is a subject unworthy of further debate because this military-grade testosterone booster appears to be missing-in-action with no idea if it will make it back to the market any time soon.
